# EuGFA

> European Generative Film Association. A European home for generative film, audiovisual creation and the artists shaping what comes next.

Tallinn, Estonia. Working across Europe.

## Purpose

EuGFA brings together the makers, thinkers and institutions building a living culture around generative media. It supports ambitious work, makes space for exchange and helps the field meet its responsibilities, with artistic freedom, transparency and care at its centre.

## What we do

- Screen and exhibition. Festivals, screenings, exhibitions and encounters for work that expands the moving image.
- [Practice and learning](https://eugfa.org/workshops): Workshops, education and professional exchange for artists and the people around their work.
- [Research and discourse](https://eugfa.org/discourse): Conversations, publications and research for a responsible, open and critically engaged field.

## Upcoming events

- [New Frames](https://eugfa.org/newframes) (2026-10-01 to 2026-11-01, Online / Europe · Online). A European student competition for original AI-assisted short films. Same stories, new tools, bigger possibilities. Submissions closed. Shortlist 6 November 2026.

Generative media is changing how images are imagined, authored and shared. It needs places where experimentation can be seen, debated and sustained.
